3 Simple Steps to Stopping Brake Noise

1. Remove pads, identify witness marks on pads that have been slightly moving in caliper. These marks will constantly be the cause of the squeal!

2. Clean all contact points, lubricate with high temp grease. Retention spring clips or replace. Pad needs to be tight in caliper, this will solve 80% of noise issues.

3. If applying disc brake quiet or a silicone based product on the pad backing plates, allow product to become tacky in caliper. Then apply brake 2-3 times in the stationary position and allow to dry. This squeezes the product around bracket & piston creating resistance for pad movement when brakes are applied.
